Little Simz

The film starts with an oversized Simz performing with miniature soldiers chanting at her feet. A flaming horse rider and his horse cross the screen and take us to Silhouette, followed swiftly by Sideways. Both feature a raw, direct, and personal performance from Little Simz. Broken revolves around a series of portraits portraying strong and sensitive Black women. Finally, Heart on Fire depicts the artist’s disconnection with the music industry elite.
