With the highly anticipated opening of IKEA’s new Oxford Street store delayed (yet again), the challenge was to generate excitement and establish IKEA’s presence in the heart of London’s fashion and retail district. We needed to give people a compelling reason to visit not just a preview of the store, but a fresh perspective on IKEA that Londoners hadn’t seen before. Our objective: to create maximum buzz and awareness ahead of next year’s opening launch.
