Discontent is a magazine for political and social discontent. Leftwing, secular, non-violent, it is a homage to the revolutionary magazines of 1970s Palestine and Lebanon. Inspired by early editions of Al Hadaf, which was edited by Ghassan Kanafani until his assassination by the Israeli forces in 1972, the magazine is published once a year and promotes freedom, justice, and political and social reform through writing, art, and design.
