Bergen Assembly – Yasmine and the Seven Faces of the Heptahedron

For the Norwegian art triennial Bergen Assembly 2022, as a site of research convened by artist Saâdane Afif, Neue Gestaltung looked to the story of the heroine, Yasmine, who is guided on her quest for the Heptahedron by seven enigmatic characters, as initially outlined in Thomas Clerc’s play The Heptahedron. The story was transformed into something tangible, building a bridge from the abstract into figurative.
