The Cat Conversion System turned adoption into a real-world behavioural experiment. Social platforms invited cat lovers to nominate sceptics in their lives, while digital targeting reached people who avoided cat content. Outdoor billboards declaring “Cat Haters Wanted” sparked curiosity and national media coverage. Participants entered two-week adoption trials with shelter cats, supported with care guidance and Whiskas food to ensure proper nutrition. Some journeys were documented and shared, turning real experiences into stories that encouraged others to reconsider adoption.
