Loro Piana – The Gift of Kings

With the launch of the exclusive The Gift of Kings pieces approaching, Loro Piana collaborated with AKQA to develop a web app. Leveraging Blockchain’s technology, it allowed customers to scan a QR code on their garments and trace its journey from the field to the stores, serving as both proof of ownership and as a certificate of authenticity. The initiative was introduced at the private opening event of Loro Piana’s new store, located in Palo Alto, known for its concentration of tech companies.
