Linseed is a journal of cultural entanglement. Inspired by the linseed, each edition revolves around a single, edible organic material with lasting cultural significance. Uniting over 40 international contributors, Volume One is a celebration of cultural crossover and local identity through the lens of the apple. The issue journeys from the Ecuadorian Amazon to Edinburgh’s neighbourhood orchards via Kenya’s coastal forests, weaving together stories and ideas encompassing craft, cultivation, history, and art.
