The Cantenna is a real can of Miller Lite with a built-in digital TV antenna, designed just for cable-cutters. To target this very specific audience, DDB Chicago went directly into the seedy underbelly of illegal streaming sites, flooding them with links to a fake NFL stream. Miller Lite trolled its audience with a fake broadcast of the game, which turned out to be an ad for the very product that would help them watch free football in the future. The video drove users to call a phone number to get the Cantenna, and call they did, with over 87,000 Cantenna requests.
