In 2018, SHISEIDO renewed its makeup. In order to expand contact points on digital for younger generations. we made entertainment based on the ultimate theme "power of makeup,” delivering the message “Makeup makes you brave.” We challenged the method of putting on makeup with animation. We synthesized an animation of makeup on a stop motioned actress. We shot 2000 images, placing the actress still. Because it had a surprising story on LGBT, it was shared on Youtube over 7.7 million times worldwide and featured in media such as ADWEEK. The piece won Film GRAND PRIX in the EPICA AWARD.
