Numbers

Our sound design brief was focused on making the numbers a force to be reckoned with, a power that plays out through statistics and defines a players performance. We created an overpowering collage of numbers and stats using the voiceover of Bryce's school baseball coach. The intensity of this voice grows throughout the film using clever editing, panning and delay techniques. We then created an abstract and tonal soundscape to bring an eerie feel to the visuals; as though we were entering Bryce's mind to feel the paranoia that pushes his performances to world class levels.
