Planning The Bothnian Sea

The book presents the Plan Bothnia spatial plan for the Bothnian Sea, a part of the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland. It includes analysis of the characteristics, uses and future developments in the region. This initiative was carried out by ministries and institutions from Finland and Sweden under the leadership of the intergovernmental Helsinki Commission (HELCOM). Visual presentation was emphasised to help politicians and citizens form their own opinions about the offshore areas, as well as to highlight the sea as a sourceof identity and inspiration.
