Nick Idents: Dino / Dog / Crab / Elephant / Racoon

We came up with the idea to create station idents with little, huggable characters fitting the Nickelodeon corporate identity. We created a spot that incorporated this identity without feeling forced. We also wanted something with an analogue look, which relates to the every day life of kids. With that in mind, the idea to put realistic orange objects in each spot was born. To build a story around convincing orange objects was a challenge, but once that was achieved the other two Nickelodeon colours, white and green, came into the design naturally. This helped to give the spots a strong style while maintaining the brand.
