The Duo Duos

There are significant benefits to learning a new language, but as we get older it becomes more difficult. Duolingo wants to encourage 16-22 year olds to incorporate language learning in their daily routine, as it can expand their minds and change their futures. We recognized the difficulty of this task, and decided we had to reach these young adults where they already are. That’s why Duolingo is partnering with Fortnite to connect with them on a platform they’re familiar with. By teaming up with another player who speaks a different language, they can better appreciate other cultures and be incentivized to learn a new language.
