A kind of prequel to F1 – The Movie, aired directly before the main film, telling the story of Brad Pitt’s mysterious 1970s watch, which he personally designed for the movie. “The Most Brilliant Failure” blends fact and fiction, tracing the origin of the watch – based on an authentic but commercially less successful 1970s model – and following how a unique piece made its way into motorsport and, 50 years later, potentially onto the wrist of Brad Pitt’s character in F1.
