Sound It Out

Kids and their caregivers in Black and Latino communities have traditionally struggled to find the language to express their deepest feelings. Yet there is another powerful, complex and emotive language available to communities of colour: music. Sound It Out is an effort to reach kids and allow them to express their feelings before they reach a state of a mental health crisis, by opening up and simplifying the lines of communication between them and their caregivers.
