SALT Salon transforms a listed Victorian storehouse in London’s Borough Market into a listening-led retail environment where hairdressing is shaped by sound, material and time. The project reimagines the salon as both a working retail space and a cultural interior. Across three levels, bespoke architecture and an embedded sound system create distinct acoustic identities that shift throughout the day, from calm, ambient mornings to immersive evening sessions, redefining the salon as a place of care, ritual and shared experience.
