Prism Geographic

At the Tokyo Creative Salon design festival, an art installation utilizing vacant spaces near Haneda Airport was presented. The flight paths of numerous airplanes traversing the globe were expressed through points and lines of light emitted by prisms. Prisms were placed on the space floor based on the locations of airports around the world near Haneda. The light not only illuminated the floor but also filled the air. Some prisms could be placed anywhere by visitors, who could also control the lighting, allowing them to create new flight paths like air traffic controllers.
