Over 200 million girls and women are affected by female genital mutilation – even in western countries. Terre des Femmes' aim was to create a strong visual idea that draws attention to the issue. The result: eyes that look like circumcised female genitals. The campaign lead to a jump in the number of supporters for the movement against FGM.
