Open the Book

The comic artist, inspired by Yoko Ono’s Grapefruit (1964), interprets and reattributes the Fluxus Event Score through his own distinctive comic language: simple in form, yet profound in resonance. Through 49 newly created single-frame instructional comic illustrations, the artist challenges readers with an almost impossible mission—to overturn our conventional understanding of social and natural surroundings, and, in doing so, perhaps save us from drowning in the never-ending stream of mundane daily life.
