NPR: For Your Right to be Curious
NPR: For Your Right to be Curious
NPR has existed for 50+ years. Yet few truly understood NPR’s value to society. So when Congress cut +$1B in public media funding, many expected NPR to quietly fade away. Instead NPR spoke up. Because you can cut funding, but you can’t silence curiosity. To imbue meaning at a critical moment, we transformed its logo into questions that sit at the heart of public journalism: Who? How? Why? asking some of the most pressing questions of our time, leading to NPR reporting that explored the answers. This campaign was a promise to the public: Curiosity can’t be contained We’ll make sure of it
