Chillon Castle is one of Switzerland’s most visited and most protected cultural landmarks. Redesigning its identity meant taking responsibility for an icon shaped by centuries. Our strategy was not to modernise for effect, but to ensure relevance over time. By deeply engaging with the site’s history, uses and audiences, we defined a “contemporary medieval” position: an identity that respects heritage while addressing today’s cultural and digital contexts. The result is a clear, durable system that allows Chillon to remain alive, now and for generations to come.
