New Iconic Kisses

Kisses are part of pop culture. But most of history’s most famous kisses focus on cis-hetero couples. And if life imitates art, it’s no wonder that, in many countries, LGBTQ+ people are shunned by society and the target of violence – and even murder. Mercado Libre, the biggest ecommerce company in Latin America and the official sponsor of São Paulo Pride Parade, decided to use its continental reach to help normalise all kinds of love. And to do so, it recreated iconic cis-hetero kisses using real life couples from the LGBTQ+ community.
