MATSU-CHA is a Japanese-owned speciality teahouse focused on quality and authenticity, rethinking how Japanese tea is presented in Europe through a contemporary approach to Japanese cultural references. The 20g matcha box is designed as a gift and introductory format. Inspired by furoshiki, the box wraps the tin and is tied with custom-dyed Japanese paper cord, creating a deliberate opening experience. The signature matcha range is represented by illustrated Shinshi, animals believed to act as mediators at Japanese shrines, reflecting tea as a mediator between individual and shared moments.
