KXNGS Speed Shields

To promote its move into cycling safety gear, KXNGS launched a creative intervention that repurposed crowd-sourced traffic alert apps, normally used by drivers to avoid speeding fines, and used them to protect cyclists instead. By uploading fake speed traps along Denmark’s most dangerous cycling routes, the cycling brand triggered thousands of warnings in systems like Ooono, Drive One and Waze, prompting drivers all over Denmark to slow down.
