This spot, for TalkTalk, is a charming example of how lovingly crafted stop-frame animation and post-production techniques can work in harmony to achieve stunning results. With the live action enhanced through painstaking post, animating elements of this commercial in 3D allowed for character facial expressions to be made more human, as well as bringing to life details such the cuckoo clock and snow globe. Balanced with 2D heavy compositing work, the concept has been delivered beautifully.
