Graphic Trial

Transparent posters with a mirror finish occupy the space in between. Mainly featuring objects that catch and reflect light, they intersect, invert, and merge. The varied reflections created by ink and varnish form a layered world. The five posters illustrate how we “Feel,” each representing one of the five senses. The background graphics are inspired by Japanese kanji characters for “sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch.” These senses are depicted as shapes visualized from the kanji characters. Photos attributed to the five senses were also picked and printed onto the posters.
