Frequencies of Peace
Frequencies of Peace
In March 2023, Babyshop launched a campaign in Syria, broadcasting a scientifically-backed Arabic lullaby nightly at 8pm on the country's largest radio stations to help traumatized children sleep. Collaborating with Syrian singer Ghaliaa Chaker and neuroscientists, the lullaby was composed with calming elements like gentle rhythm and simple melody. Beyond radio, it's available on Anghami and a dedicated station, Frequencies of Peace FM. This initiative aims to replace war's background noise with soothing sounds, providing a peaceful tool for millions in conflict-affected areas.
