Everything, Covered: 100 Years of The New Yorker

To mark The New Yorker’s 100th anniversary, we set out to tell a story about the magazine’s legacy using only what already existed: its covers. No added illustrations, no interviews, no reenactments. Just 700 carefully chosen covers—animated, sequenced, and edited to form a living narrative. The idea challenged traditional storytelling boundaries: it turned still art into motion, history into emotion. The result is an unexpected and moving tribute that repositions a legacy brand in a contemporary light. It doesn’t just honor the past; it reinvents it.
