Contraband
Contraband
The word "contraband" comes from the Italian "contrabbando", meaning "smuggled goods", referencing the Prohibition era and hidden creativity in smuggling tales. Each packaging tells its own story, with consistent design elements like framing ribbons and hastily written cocktail names. The Paloma packaging features a heist story, Milano Spritz includes a poorly censored police report, Negroni uses "Leet" language, Apple Mule resembles a threatening letter and Gin & Tonic displays a Western wanted poster for two outlaws.
