Clocks
Clocks
Against Aids , every minute counts. At a set time, twice a day, the hands of these clocks come together and align to form a sentence: ‘Every 12 hours in Africa, over 2,000 people die from AIDS because they have no access to care’. SOLIDARITE SIDA wanted to alert Europeans to the necessity of acting quickly against this situation. BETC Euro RSCG created an outdoorinstallation, in association with artist Nadine Grenier, consisting of 321 clocks. The bottom of the installation carries the call to action, explaining where people can get more information about the foundation and donate online: ‘Every minute counts. www.solidarite-sida.org’.
