Calvino

Calvino, named after the Italian writer Italo Calvino, is a typeface designed following the literary principles expressed in his masterpiece Six Memos for the Next Millennium. Exactitude and visibility are embodied by references to Garalde typefaces and their highly legible letterforms. Quickness and lightness are represented by the calligraphic approach to design, which balances the formal rigour with a lively energy. A range of weights suitable for display and text use cases channelled the principle of multiplicity.
