BRITA 131

The typography of this work combines a mono font with graphics. The graphics cues from the international maritime signal flags, a system in which each flag represents a letter. Redefined with a youthful color palette, they were further developed into a typeface that shifts between flags and letters. It's applied in the signage system and the visual identities of BRITA 131 art space and B 131 Cafe. The inspiration comes from BRITA 131’s founding concept, “everyone is a bright tower,” connecting the theme of art and the sea, converting visitors’ movement in the space into a voyage of thought.
