Bike Way, Belém - Cais do Sodré, Portugal

The project was undertaken by Global and P-06 ATELIER, which developed the signage and colour study. The goal was to redefine a new public facility to enhance the 7,362m area along the river. All the signs, symbols and words establish boundaries, guidance and information, creating a relationship with the urban context, telling us a story, leading and seducing us along the way. The graphics went beyond the basic needs of communication with the large-scale features of Alberto Caeiro’s poem or with the onomatopoeic intervention under the bridge revealing the sounds beneath it.
