Described by Advertising Age as one of the most influential people in the communications business, Tham Khai Meng is Worldwide Co-Chairman of Ogilvy & Mather. In 2012 he made history at Ogilvy by leading the agency to win Network of the Year at Cannes for the first time in its history. And then repeated the achievement in 2013, 2014 and 2015, making it four years in a row.
Khai started out in London at Leo Burnett and joined Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific in 2000 as Regional CD and Co-Chairman. He moved to New York in 2009 as Worldwide Chief Creative Officer.
Khai chaired Cannes Lions Film and Print Jury in 2012, and he is a multiple Cannes Grand Prix winner. With more than 15 Yellow Pencils under his belt, he is one of this generation's most awarded creatives.
After a lifetime of fighting fires in the creative department and elsewhere he now lives in a converted 19th c. firehouse in New York City.
