Two titans. One smartphone. Buckle up for the first manga-to-live-action adaptation Shot on iPhone: “Midnight” an unvarnished camera demo of the device in your pocket. Story by “God of Manga” Osamu Tezuka. Based on Tezuka’s hidden 1986 masterpiece, “Midnight” features an ex-gang leader turned taxi driver, a badass female truck driver, an evil assassin and his psychotic puppet. iPhone’s LiDAR scanner made its debut, creating the base of all the CGI for Midnight’s taxi and its absurd 5th wheel, vaulting forward “Shot on iPhone” as a campaign.
