It the juxtaposition of the prisoner’s mug shot & court record and their final words, spoken in the death chamber that produces a testament to the prisoners’ humanity. It makes a powerful contribution to the critical discourse we, must engage in. It calls on our deepest conscience to work for social change. Remaining silent in the face of injustice is to choose darkness for all.
