So BMO became the first financial institution to launch a channel on the world’s number one streaming platform, Twitch – despite the objections of Twitch, which recommended against a bank creating a Twitch channel. With over 8.9 million video views, a 30% improvement in gaming association among younger customers, and over 37,000 campaign engagements, BMO NXT LVL reimagined what a bank can be and proved there is room for a financial institution to thrive within gaming culture.
