We Are Travellers

We Are Travellers calls into question what it truly means to be Scandinavian. While there are many associations with Scandinavia in terms of inventions, customs and practices, in reality, the majority have merely been adapted from other cultures. It explains how Swedish meatballs might be Turkish, the Danish national dish is originally Dutch, and Scandinavian design originally comes from the East. It is a fast-paced, emotional journey through Scandinavia and its history, using portrait shots, vintage footage, stock film and location shots from all over the region to tell this story.
