Moholy-Nagy Foundation

The Moholy-Nagy Foundation asked Marina Willer to create a new identity and website to promote the artist’s work and his legacy. The mindset and methods used by Moholy-Nagy directly informed the craft-based approach. Using projections with light and water, typographic forms were created by hand in the studio – these form the basis of the fluid identity and the distinctive typographic wordmark. Using techniques inspired by the artist’s experimental approach, Marina and her team created a striking and sympathetic identity which perfectly honours Moholy-Nagy’s amazing legacy.
