For their December 2014 issue, edited by Interstellar director Christopher Nolan, Wired not only restructured the magazine, they gave it a top-to-bottom visual redesign, too. The striking cover is evocative of travelling through the multiple dimensions of the magazine, and the inner editorial design extends the interdimensional motif. Christopher Nolan's special Interstellar edition of WIRED got its own dramatic motion graphic trailer, promoting the magazine ahead of its online and physical release. The trailer teases the editorial content, telling an ongoing story of invention and the future.
