Wallpaper commissioned Israeli-born graphic designer Noma Bar to create eight different covers for its April 2012 global interiors special. Known for his play on space, usually in 2D, Bar entered a new dimension to create 3D room sets representing Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Scandinavia, Spain and theUSA. Integrating actual products with his trademark illustrations painted onto the walls, the territory-specific covers generated huge exposure and were distributed to newsstands in the relevant countries. The cover artwork was so popularthat prints and posters were sold on Wallpaper’s website.
