We created 25 20-second commercials using Skittles as some part of the animated action. Five of these were released on television, directing viewers to a website, where all the films were shown. A new film was released each day for a month. The site also featured an animation tool, inviting consumers to make their own films. Over 1,500 people submitted their own work; an online vote was held to decide the best entry, which in turn was produced as a TV commercial.
