Pulchri Studio Poster Series - Voorjaarssalon 2007/Najaarssalon 2007

The brief: Promote the annual spring and autumn exhibition and the Pulchri Studio as an active society and exhibition space for both established artists and young talent. The result: The Voorjaarssalon poster was inspired by the diamond. It served as a metaphor for a work of art that has been perfected by the artist, just like the art shown in this spring exhibition. The bright colours and striped pattern also represented the first rays of sunlight and hopeful atmosphere of spring. The Najaarssalon poster was inspired by the unpredictable autumn weather with its lightning, thunder and dark skies. This poster series was printed with PMS colours instead of CMYK (full colour), which resulted in clear poster designs with radiant colours.
