Coors Light Coaster Mode

The challenge was to get people to put down their phones and drink Coors Light instead. So we suggested the best way to use a phone is as a coaster – because you can’t pick up your phone if there’s a beer on top of it. The Coors Light Coaster Mode app helps you chill for longer by silencing notifications and offering a fully personalisable coasting experience: music, automatic replies, a social mode, and even a strobe light party mode. We made Coaster Mode filters for TikTok and Instagram so that you can capture pictures/videos ‘Shot on Coaster’. From this ‘worm’s-eye view’, people are encouraged to share themselves being in the moment. In a time when lots of us worry about having toxic relationships with our phones, Coors Light became the official beer of putting them down.
