A celebration worthy of 50 years of the best design and advertising.
On Tuesday 18 September, members of the creative industry worldwide joined us to celebrate the individuals, brands and businesses that have shaped the industry since our inception.
Special edition Pencils were awarded to those who have amassed the most Yellow and Black Pencils in our history, including the likes of Tony Brignull, Tony Kaye and Neil Godfrey. For the winners of each of the eight categories please see below:
We also recognised those who are set to shape future standards, with the presentation of this year’s Yellow Pencils and the Black Pencil, which this year was awarded to Lowe/SSP3's Rivers of Light alone.
But of course that was only part of the night.
The after party kicked off at 10.30pm and ended in the wee hours of the next morning. Grammy Award winners De La Soul headlined the evening and got the crowd going with classics such as 3 is the Magic Number. They were followed by Jonquil and Nina Hynes.
Photos, including The Blank Sheet Project’s photobooth, can be seen on Facebook. For those of you who weren't able to attend, you can get a glimpse of the action through our live stream, hosted by Simon Manchipp.
