Vice Cream Truck

A record cover designed for Secret 7” presented by War Child. Based on Gregory Porter's "Merchant of Paradise", it characterizes power-hungry warmongers as the devil, driving a (v)ice cream truck, selling false hope, masquerading violence and death as sweet promises to seduce, manipulate, and abuse, condemning innocent lives, especially children to a living hell that is war. Additionally, supporting elements are inserted to complete the picture — the vending machine selling guns symbolizes war profiteers; the acidic puddle on the road, burnt trees, and the red cloudy sky illustrate the impact of war on the environment; and a self-explanatory dumpster fire.
