Crystal Ball

The artwork is for 'Return To Oz' by Scissor Sisters, as per the War Child brief. The song is largely interpreted as a comment on crystal meth being used too often in the gay community. I wanted to include imagery of a club like setting with some kind of 'crystal' motif. My final illustration is inspired by Italian futurism with the crystal-like figures intertwined, as in a dance. I was also inspired by graphic designer Barney Bubbles and his use of white backgrounds/ minimal colours.
