POPPIES

The poppy is a symbol of remembrance and resilience, especially in the aftermath of war. Featured on the cover of Be More Kind by Frank Turner, it echoes its message: in a chaotic world, kindness must endure. To reflect this, I used crushed grapes to create a red poppy herbarium and then scanned it to preserve its texture. The handmade process, with its organic imperfections, mirrors the raw and human nature of empathy—something we must choose to cultivate every day.
