For the 2021-2022 season, the Detroit Pistons basketball team released a video brought to life by artist Mama Sol, who gives a voice to the people of Detroit. Carried by her spoken word performance, the film sweeps through the city, catching glimpses of Detroiters both on and off the basketball court. Using a mix of motion and still, digital and analogue imagery, the film served as a collage of the city's beloved team and its die hard fans.
