The Paris Review

The Paris Review has a long history of showcasing literature and art, and this heritage guided the redesign of the 69-year-old literary magazine. The design takes inspiration from books in particular: the trim size was slightly reduced so that the magazine is easy to hold in one hand or read on the go, while the warm, textured paper is reminiscent of book stock. The cover lines that previously cluttered the front cover were moved to the spine, making issues easy to find on a bookshelf and giving breathing space to the cover design.
